Riding Club of Austin is a full-service Hunter/ Jumper equestrian facility conveniently located in Southwest Austin. We cater to every rider’s goals no matter how small or big they may be! We offer lessons, training, camps, Horse Shows, Clinics, and more! Our lesson programs here at Riding Club of Austin not only enhance riders' skills but also deepen their understanding of body mechanics and their impact on the horse's movement. We prioritize strengthening riders' mind-body awareness to achieve harmony with the horse. Understanding that students come from diverse backgrounds, we adopt a trauma-informed approach to build trust and create a supportive environment for all riders. Through these practices, we empower our students and help them feel comfortable in their interactions with horses.

RCA SCHOOLING SHOW ALLIANCE

At the Riding Club of Austin Schooling Show Alliance, our focus is on helping riders improve their skills in a supportive and educational environment. Our shows are designed to provide young equestrians with an opportunity to put into practice what they’ve been working on and leave with valuable feedback from experienced judges. 


We offer group debriefs to discuss overall performance insights, as well as individual debriefs for personalized feedback after each round, giving riders clear guidance on areas to refine. Additionally, our educational booth stations cover important topics like tack fitting, horse health, and more, ensuring that every participant has the chance to learn and grow. 


Our goal is to help riders and their trainers gain valuable advice that they can take with them to continue their journey in becoming better equestrians.

Thanksgiving 3-Day Horse Camp at Riding Club of Austin!Dates: November 25-27, 2024  Time: 8 AM - 2 PM daily  This Thanksgiving, let your child enjoy an exciting and educational experience at Riding Club of Austin's 3-day Horse Camp! Through hands-on activities, games, and expert instruction, they’ll learn horsemanship, basic veterinary skills, and build their riding abilities.Camp highlights include: Practical horse care and horsemanship. Fun, interactive lessons on veterinary care. Riding lessons for all experience levels. Engaging games that make learning about horses a blast!
Ages: 7-14  Location: Riding Club of Austin  Cost: $150 per day or $450 for all 3 days

HOMESCHOOLING EQUESTRIAN GROUP CLASSES

$55/per student per 2.5hr class!

Join our Homeschool Equestrian Program, open to ages 8-17! Whether you're new to horses or already experienced, our informal 2.5-hour classes offer something for everyone. Students will learn horsemanship, riding skills, basic equine medical care, and more, with a varied agenda each session. No experience needed—just a love for learning and adventure!

BRIANNA REED - OWNER/ HEAD TRAINER & INSTRUCTOR, USEF 

Meet the Owner and Head Trainer, Brianna Reed

As the owner of Riding Club of Austin, Brianna Reed brings a unique blend of expertise and passion to the table. Although Brianna was raised in Austin, Texas her roots come from a small town in Texas,  Cedar Hill. Here she developed a deep connection with animals and nature. Whether it was raising longhorns in Midlothian, Texas and showing lambs in the FFA or bringing home lost dogs, Brianna’s affinity for animals has always been a driving force in her life. Starting from a very young age Brianna began receiving professional instruction in the disciplines of Eventing, Hunt Seat, and Show Jumping later competing in the Texas show circuit as well as A rated shows. She would eventually find herself developing an extensive background in veterinary medicine working in multiple surgical settings monitoring anesthesia or directly assisting surgeons in the operating room. This decade of experience in veterinary medicine has honed her skills and deepened her understanding of the intricacies of horse health.

INSTRUCTOR & TRAINER USEF BEGINNER-ADVANCED!

Trainer - Instructor
Roberto, originally from Ecuador, is a third generation horseman who has been riding and competing since he was 7 years old. Roberto graduated with honors from the Westmoreland Davis Equestrian Institute under the direction of Tad Coffin, Raul de León and under the supervision of the legendary US Olympic team coach, Bertalan DeNemethy. Roberto has competed in show jumping, as well as dressage and eventing. His passion is training and instructing students and horses in all levels and to prepare them for the ribbons o just to become better riders. Roberto is an avid rider, a husband and father of 2. Roberto is SafeSport certified and holds a membership with USEF.

As an Honors Graduate, bringing in 7+ years of experience, Dakota skillfully shapes her beginner students into well rounded english riders ready to pursue whatever path they desire! Pulling from her experience gentling mustangs alongside Kimber Wich in Bastrop, Texas, and her experience riding and showing at Kats Ranch in Southern California, Dakota creates confident, capable riders who can take their skills to the next level. In addition to her unique training style and set of skills, Dakota’s countless hours spent learning from Head Trainer and Instructor Brianna Reed ensure her students will always be receiving consistent riding instruction no matter who they learn from here at RCA.

Ellie grew up riding as a hunter/jumper in Austin, TX, accumulating over 10 years of experience in riding, showing, and horsemanship. She attended the University of Washington as a biology major, where she competed in both hunt seat and western disciplines on UW’s IHSA team. Now back in Austin, Ellie divides her time between her passions for horses and science. As a trainer, she is dedicated to helping her students enhance their riding and horsemanship skills, whether they are riding for relaxation, aiming for competitive success, or anything in between.
